Whatever side of it you’re on, this space is yours.

Leaving, being left, staying, or not knowing yet. ByeByeX helps you get through a relationship ending one day at a time: check in, rest what hurts, let it out anonymously, match with someone at the same stage, and talk it through with Celasto. We’re letting people in a few at a time.

ReframeMissing someone and being right to leave can both be true on the same afternoon. GrowAn urge has a shape: it rises, peaks and falls. You only have to outlast the peak. ReframeClosure is rarely something the other person hands you. More often it is something you stop waiting for. GrowDiscomfort is not danger. Practise telling the difference. ReframeChecking their profile answers nothing you actually asked. GrowGrief comes in waves, not stairs. A hard day after a good week is not a step backwards. ReframeNot responding is also a response. Silence can be a boundary, not a punishment. GrowSmall, boring routines are how a nervous system learns the danger has passed.
One day at a time

Three small habits that actually help.

Nothing here is a programme or a score. It is a place to notice how you are, keep what hurts out of reach for a while, and not carry it alone.

01

Check in, honestly.

A daily mood in thirty seconds, a day counter from the day you chose, and a streak that never shames you for a missed day.

02

Rest what hurts.

Photos and the message you keep rereading rest in your vault for 1 to 60 days, with early looks only if you chose them.

03

Say it to someone who gets it.

An anonymous feed that fades in 24 hours, one-to-one matches at your stage, and Celasto at any hour.

What’s inside

Built for the 2 am moments.

Today

Count the days. Outlast the urge.

Set your own day one and watch the days add up, with milestones along the way and a kind reset if you need one. When you’re itching to check or send something, the urge triage gives you three ways out instead of one way in.

  • Talk it through with Celasto, your words carried over.
  • Let it out anonymously, gone in 24 hours.
  • Surf the urge for five or ten minutes before you decide anything.

Memory vault

Out of reach, not gone.

Rest a photo, or paste the message you keep rereading, for 1 to 60 days. While it rests you see only its name. Choose zero, one or two early looks up front; each one opens it for ten minutes after a short pause that asks what you’re hoping to find.

  • Yours to export or delete at any moment, even while resting.
  • Only what you choose is stored. No scanning of your photo library or messages.

Match

Someone at the same stage.

Say where it feels like you are today. Matching looks for the same stage first, then a similar situation, and connects you one to one with a real person, both of you anonymous. Leave or block is always one tap away.

Shock Grief Anger Rebuilding
  • You see what you genuinely have in common, never an invented percentage.
  • A live count of who is waiting, counted honestly.

Anonymous feed

Say it here, not to them. Posts fade after 24 hours, you appear under a generated name, and personal details are filtered. Stamp the ex, laugh together, and watch “most bizarre ex today” change by the hour.

Private journal

Pages only you can read, a mood on each, and a trend drawn from your own entries. Nothing is analysed unless you say so.

“Not fixed. Lighter. I noticed the difference on the tram this morning and wanted a record of it.”

Today’s reframe

One short idea a day about relationships, endings and your own nervous system. Plain words, no diagnosis.

Honest progress

Levels, streaks and twelve badges, all from what you actually did. No invented scores.

Private by default

  • Journal, vault and chats are yours alone
  • Saved chat and journal context stay off until you turn them on
  • Export everything, or delete it all, in one tap
Your companion

Celasto listens. Text, or just call.

Say what happened, in your words. Celasto answers warmly in Australian English, asks one gentle question at a time, and never takes sides. On a call it listens, thinks, and answers in its own voice until you hang up.

  • An AI, and it says so. Not a human, not a psychologist, not a crisis service.
  • Saved chat history and journal context stay off until you turn them on.
  • If you are in danger it points you to real help first.

Safety & privacy

Private by default. Honest by design.

  • In the feed and in matches you appear under an anonymous name. Phone numbers, emails and handles are filtered before anyone sees them.
  • Feed posts become inaccessible after 24 hours. Original feed photos are never uploaded.
  • We don’t scan your photo library or your messages. Only what you choose is stored, and you can export or delete all of it.
  • Celasto’s online AI and voice run on OpenAI and ElevenLabs through our server. A backup copy of every AI request and reply, including voice audio, is kept on our server in mainland China (Alibaba Cloud), and deleting your data deletes it too.
  • Report, leave or block any conversation. Blocked people are never matched with you again.
  • ByeByeX is not a crisis service and not a substitute for professional care.
